|
| Insurance Foundation of India (IFI) aims to encourage students to undertake Insurance Industry oriented projects through this competition. This is facilitated with a view to broaden the analytical knowledge of students aiming for a successful career in Financial Services /Insurance industry. |

| Awards |
|
| The students of the best three project reports as per the assessment will be awarded cash prize of: |
|
- 1st Prize- Rs.25,000/-
- 2nd Prize- Rs. 15,000/-
- 3rd Prize- Rs. 5,000/-
|
| Consolation prizes will given as per decision of the Awards Committee. Certificate will be awarded to all the participants. |
|

- Financial analysis of life insurance companies operating in India (Yr 2008-09 or 2009-10)
- Inter-firm comparison of 3 Life Insurance Companies.
- Inter-firm comparison of 3 General Insurance Companies.
- Inter-firm comparison of 3 Third Party Administrator firms.
- Market projections of Health Insurance Industry – Year 2025
- Study of corporate social responsibility initiatives by 44 Insurance Companies during 2009-10
- Buying behavior of Indian business travelers for buying overseas traveling insurance.
- Buying behavior of female executives in India for getting life insurance coverage.
- Buying behavior of shopkeepers for buying shopkeeper’s insurance.
- Buying behavior of senior citizens for buying health insurance.
- Buying behavior of High Networth Individuals (HNIs) for vehicle insurance of large size vehicles.
- Survey of 100 customers who lodged claims under Health Insurance
- Buying behavior of the residents of a specific locality for getting health insurance coverage.

| The topic for Project Report must be selected from following list. |

| Membership fee of Rs. 600/- only by DD drawn in favour of ‘Insurance Foundation of India’ payable at New Delhi, should accompany the duly filled membership form and project report. The Project Reports must reach IFI by 31st May, 2011. |

| Rules/Regulations/Guidelines |
|
- One copy of the project report to be submitted to IFI on or before 31st May, 2011.
- Membership form of IFI to be downloaded from www.ifingo.org , filled and attached with the project report.
- Demand Draft of Rs. 600 in the name of ‘Insurance Foundation of India’ payable in New Delhi towards full membership – individual fee to be attached. (This includes entry fee Rs. 100 + yearly fee Rs. 500).
- IFI will have the right to use the project report (partly/fully) for its studies, publications, books, presentations, website etc where due credit will be given to the students.
- IFI may get selected project reports compiled and printed and copies of it will be circulated in the Insurance Industry which will bring goodwill to the Institute as well as students.
- IFI has the right to add more institutes and topics to the Competition without notice.
- Selection of best three projects will be done by eminent personalities from Insurance Industry.
- Result will be announced on 1st August, 2010.
- Project reports based on surveys should be backed by the details of surveys undertaken.

| All project reports will be screened for the purpose of short-listing. The selection of best three project reports will be done by eminent personalities from Insurance Industry. The result will be announced on 1st August, 2010. |
