Dear S.K. Sethi,

It was a pleasure being with you all yesterday and may I take this opportunity to compliment the PHD Chamber for organising and Raheja QBE for sponsoring an outstanding conference on Liabilities and Trade Credit?

If there was any initial skepticism w.r.t the conference, I think it dissolved very soon as the conference got underway, at the start with the Chamber senior officials setting the right theme for the rest of the proceedings and followed by great technical sessions. I would also like to thank Mr. Sethi for suggesting that I do an overview of innovations rather than stick to any one topic and I enjoyed sharing my international experience with the audience. The participation from the audience was quite engaging and drew out the best from all the panelists.   Overall a very satisfying experience, and I deeply appreciate the green memento (a great idea, that one!) from the Chamber.

I think everyone yesterday was convinced that this momentum needs to be maintained and I offer my services in any form that the Chamber may require, for future conferences, for any literature and in turn, I shall also send to the Chamber my inputs on related topics as and when called upon! As India Inc. continues to strive towards globalization and occupying a pride of place in international trade and commerce, I think risk management and optimum insurance protection will occupy centre stage in corporate psyche. With such programmes, PHD Chamber can play a tremendous role in helping its constituent members navigate the complexities well, handle the risks that invariably arise when new opportunities present themselves.

My compliments and thanks once again to PHD Chamber, Raheja QBE and all my fellow panelists and I look forward to many such future programmes.
